The Groom
Stephen
Stephen was born in Brownsville, Texas, to parents from Colombia, and proudly considers himself a Houston native. He attended Clements High School, where he excelled in soccer and earned multiple athletic honors, including being named Best Forward by the Houston Chronicle.
His passion for the game took him abroad, competing in Spain and later playing professional soccer in England for four years, where he also earned his Bachelor's degree in International Business. After returning to the U.S. during COVID, Stephen completed his MBA in Marketing and began building his entrepreneurial path.
Today, Stephen is the founder of iSmart Roofing, iSmart A.I., and The American Dream Event — now a nationally recognized conference partnered with and supported by some of the top companies and leaders in the country. He is also a 2X published author and podcast host, driven by a mission to inspire and empower others.
Above all, Stephen is grateful for the journey and the people who make it meaningful — especially Diana, whose love and partnership mark the most important chapter yet.
The Bride
Diana Sofia
Diana Sofia views her life not simply as a journey, but as a calling. Born in Monterrey, Mexico and raised in the small town of Friendswood, Texas alongside her ten siblings, she grew up surrounded by faith, family, and community. Deeply rooted in the Catholic faith, she believes we are called above all to love, to pursue holiness, and to help one another reach Heaven.
To her, holiness is found in the small, faithful "yes's" of everyday life — through service, family, and generosity of heart. With a passion for history, theology, and thoughtful research, Diana Sofia has authored two books and is currently writing her third, focused on raising awareness about pornography and sex trafficking. She also serves in her church's quinceañera catechism program and attends the University of St. Thomas.
More than any accomplishment, Diana Sofia dreams of building a home rooted in faith, love, and joy. Meeting Stephen felt like one of those providential moments where faith and love beautifully intertwine. She sees their marriage not only as a celebration, but as a shared vocation built on Christ, purpose, and the desire to help one another grow in holiness.
